George Breece, founding Executive Director of the National Association for the Advancement of Orthotics and Prosthetics announced today he will be retiring at the end of 2025 after 38 years at the helm of NAAOP.  Inspired in his childhood by two members of his family who lived with limb loss, George has never stopped putting the O&P patient first in his service to NAAOP, a national trade association of O&P practitioners, clinics, manufacturers and suppliers.  In a brief retirement announcement, George thanks many leaders in the O&P profession who have enabled NAAOP to thrive over nearly four decades in advocating for O&P policy issues in Washington, DC and in several states.  Short testimonials from NAAOP colleagues follow his brief remarks commemorating the impact George has had on O&P patients and the providers who serve them.
