Congressional Fly-In Conclusion and Review

This past week on July 13th and 14th, NAAOP hosted its second annual in-person Congressional fly-in. NAAOP hosted over thirty O&P professionals, patients, and former fellows in Washington to attend meetings on Capitol Hill to advocate for the O&P Patient-Centered Care Act, the Take Care of our Veterans Act, and to advocate for $15 million in OPORP funding. This event was a major success as our groups of advocates went around Capitol Hill to speak with their state representatives.
