Nikki is the former Director of the Orthotic and Prosthetic Group of America (OPGA) of Waterloo, Iowa and was previously the Director of Operations for Osseointegration International, Inc. She is a former firefighter, EMS professional, and fluent Russian speaker. Nikki brings a distinct blend of expertise and advocacy to the healthcare field. Following a life-altering accident in 2009 and an unsuccessful knee replacement, Nikki underwent an above-the-knee amputation. This propelled her dedication to osseointegration, establishing her as a significant figure in O&P advocacy. Nikki's local impact shines through her Central Illinois Amputees initiative, addressing rural amputees' unique needs. Through essential resources, advocacy, education, and community engagement, she bridges gaps in care access. Nikki was a 2022 NAAOP Breece Fellow and in 2023 was named the OPGA O&P Women of the Year.
