Danny Shapiro is the Vice President for Patient Care Americas at Embla Medical, leading its growing network of orthotics and prosthetics clinics across the U.S. under the ForMotion brand. He has served in various executive positions across healthcare specialties, built values-driven start-up and global provider organizations -- from DaVita to Cricket Health -- and commercialized transformative virtual, home and clinic-based care models that improve our quality of life. Danny's early career spanned forward-thinking digital media, non-profit, real estate and hospitality organizations. 

Danny's connection to mobility health started early. Motivated by the impact of scoliosis on his family, he worked at the Hospital for Special Surgery's Department of Biomechanics during high school, advancing the industry's understanding of healthy movement and recovery from spinal column injuries. Throughout his career, he has sought to improve the lives of chronically ill patients, including many with limb differences.   

Danny is a graduate of Harvard College, Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School.  He spends his free time playing recreational soccer, and chasing after his two kids.
