This afternoon, I had the privilege of attending the Silverstein Fellow Luncheon, where I had the opportunity to meet former Senator Harkin. The Silverstein Fellowship is administered by the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) and named after Bobby Silverstein, a Powers Law partner who passed away in 2022. Today was my first day on the job as the 2026 George and Dena Breece Fellow! It was a whirlwind of activity and excitement. I had the opportunity to meet the incredible group of professionals here at the Powers Law office, where the Breece Fellow is based. I look forward to the first week of my fellowship and to all the incredible opportunities that are ahead of me this summer.
